Natasha Finlay has been teaching piano since 1998 — in Montreal, Toronto, Oakville, London and Paris. She teaches in English and French, works with all ages and levels, and holds the Royal Conservatory of Music's highest teaching honour.

Natasha holds both an ARCT in Piano Pedagogy and an ARCT in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music — a rare combination that gives her exceptional depth as both a teacher and a working musician.

In 2014 she received the RCM Gold Medal for both Elementary and Intermediate Piano Pedagogy — the highest marks of all candidates across Canada that year. Her teaching of beginner students in their first three years received a mark of 95%.

Dance notator.

Natasha's work as a pianist and accompanist has taken her around the world. Highlights include performing at Koerner Hall, accompanying a clarinetist in Paris, and playing for award-winning voice students at competitions across Ontario.

She is one of Canada's rare dance notators, holds a Masters in movement notation from the Paris Conservatoire, and gives pre-show talks for the National Ballet of Canada. She is a Curator and Coach for TEDxToronto.

She completed her dance training in England with a teaching certification in Classical Ballet from the ISTD, and has taught ballet, jazz, tap and creative movement across Toronto.
